The Convention on Modern Liberty

What do you have planned for Saturday, 28 February 2009?

A mix of people and organisations are convening across the UK to discuss the state of our civil liberties and what do do about them.  The ‘main’ one, in London:

The Convention will be a one day gathering of 1,000 people on Saturday 28 February 2009 at the Institute for Education in central London. It is being sponsored by Rowntrees, openDemocracy, Liberty and the Guardian.

And, importantly, seek common ground in the defence our liberties.
